So I have begun featuring chicks that eatttttt in style and love food just like me. First feature is Tamika.
What do you do?
This is a good question, I do a lot lol. Currently I work at Tari, a consignment boutique in Georgetown DC. I am also the PA to Kas of Kas Collection, Inc as well as Lead Assistant Designer for the company. Aside from all of that, I am a blogger as well.
What do you like to do for fun?
Anything fashion related I dub as fun for me. It could be viewing a fashion show, attending an event, working on set as a stylist.. blah, blah blah lol, that’s fun for me. And of course, the ever popular seeing a good movie, going out to eat, or dancing the night away at a good party.
What do you see yourself doing in the future?
In the future, I see myself continuing to pursue a career within the fashion industry. Hopefully having my own line one day.
What is your favorite restaurant?
I don’t have a favorite restaurant, there are so many good ones out there. But on my top list right now would have to be The Hamilton, Sax, Busboys and Poets. I can’t think of any others currently lol
What is your favorite food?
Anything potato, I love potatoes. Not sweet potato though, am I weird? Haha
Last but not least, how can we stay connected with you?
Here is a late recap of La Petite Marmoset launch party at their beautiful studio in Howard/Columbia Heights area. It was a cool event where you could see a lot of the pieces up close and personal. There were some appetizers from Red Rocks on Park Rd. I got to check this spot out last week and it was pretty amazing!!! I’ll show some of the dishes I had in another post. 😉
Here are some pictures from the event::

DC Scout had a party!!! It was their 4th Anniversary. Madewell was taken over by DC Scout! WOOT WOOT! I ran into some familiar faces and met some new folks which was lovely. DC Scout helped keep the festivities going with cupcakes, beer, and wine. I got an amazing gift bag with tons of goodies I need to take advantage of!
Here are some pictures from the night of celebration!
Kate looked ADORABLE!!!
My girl Mika stylin on em!!!!
A friend of mine from high school has an urban t-shirt line called DEFY – http://store.defydc.com/ that I think has something striking about it. I helped to style one of the t-shirts which I got to see did very well at the Pop Up Shop. I was very excited. His t-shirts represent DC which you will notice, there are not a lot brands that truly represent DC.
This event had a really good turn out. I am always proud to see my friends flourish in their passions and things they work really hard on. Enjoy the pictures from the event.
Tamicakes http://www.tamicakesdc.com/ was there with amazing Sweet James Jones (Red Velvet)
So the first stop on my adventures list is Eden for the relaunch of Reebok which actually had some pretty cool shoes. They had a pair of gold shoes and I love gold shoes, I even have a pair but not Reebok. But anyway back to the event, it was hosted with Ciroc as well so you know how that goes. I caught up with some friends and the night was pretty cool. Not sure if I would buy a pair of Reeboks, it’s been years.

I received a booklet from Banana Republic titled Trina Turk Collection. They have some cool prints and if you look at the above picture, the shirt 2nd from the left is called the Pisces top. I’m a Pisces so I think I am in love! I also caught that top in a magazine, I believe Real Simple but I could be wrong. (Don’t quote me! lol)
Apparently it’s a party on Thursday! via DC Scout
