Kiehl’s Since 1851 is embarking on its third annual Kiehl’s LifeRide for amfAR, The Foundation for AIDS Research, with a ten-day philanthropic motorcycle ride to raise awareness for HIV/AIDS research and resources and celebrate the staging of the International AIDS Conference in the United States for the first time in 22 years beginning July 27 here in D.C. Led by Kiehl’s President Chris Salgardo and amfAR CEO Kevin Robert Frost, and joined by motorcycle enthusiasts and celebrity guests including Sharon Stone, Global Fundraising Chairman, amfAR, and John Corbett from Sex and the City, the  Eastern Seaboard ride includes a stop and celebration at the Georgetown Kiehl’s (3110 M Street, NW) on Friday, July, 20 and from 6 to 8 p.m. The event will feature motorcyclists riding up M Street, motocycle-inspired bites created by noted area chefs; R.J. Cooper, Mike Isabella, David Guas and Robert Wiedmaier, motorcycle-themed Georgetown Cupcakes, beverages from event sponsor AriZona Beverages and a $115,000 check presentation from Kiehl’s Since 1851 President Chris Salgardo.
