So even though snow seems to not want to let us live
like Spring didn’t start last week, the day parties have begun. I always look at what people have on at certain events and I analyze. It’s just something someone into fashion is constantly doing. LOL!

It is that time of the year when people start to be more outgoing with events, weddings, engagements, and parties. There is a great company called Events by TRB that is here to assist you. I got some background of this company and how they can help you with your next major event. Continue reading
I have these random thoughts that pop up in my head at any given moment. I wanted to bring up a topic of dating and fashion. This sparks my attention because I am one of those people that will have 5 different colors on and you will have to walk down the street with me. LOL!
I have had boyfriends that are not fashionable or they don’t care about it. I’ve even had guys say why are you wearing that or could you not wear 5 colors? I’ve also dated guys that are fashionable and they get it and embrace it. I care a lot about what I wear even if I’m just running outside to get a newspaper, I need to have something decent on, SORRY!
I have come to the realization that if a guy can not respect what you are passionate about, then he is not for you. Be you, be fashionable, not SLUTTY, and just enjoy life. I live by, “do what makes YOU happy.” And guys, give us a break. We have so much other stuff to deal with. Let us have fun and be different. 😉
Have any of my fashionable followers had to deal with this or conform to “toning it down” for a significant other?
So I saw a collection that had something interesting about it that caught my eye. This collection was from Jean Paul Gualtier. They brought in all shades and ages. The monochromatic look worked on so many levels. It took me back to the Wiz when they had everyone in green. Gualtier also incorporated prints that were placed together beautifully. Here are some of my favorite looks.
Well if some of you don’t know, I reached the big 2-8…..I don’t feel a day over 25. I decided to keep my birthday simple this year but I still did quite a bit. I partied in DC, twice. I then escaped to NYC and roamed the city. I got to see friends I hadn’t seen in a while and explore places I’ve never been to.
I got to check out a really cool food spot in NYC called Sea. This place is inexpensive, nice set up, and AMAZING thai food. It was only right that I had some great food while in NYC. This place requires a reservation or you could be waiting for HOURS, literally. I went ahead and planned ahead of time.
After this I roamed the city and went to a lounge for a dirty 30 birthday and two clubs. New York never sleeps and I got sleepy. Lol. I of course had to stop and get some great food from one of the street vendors. The food was right on time.
I ended my Sunday by meeting with a friend I hadn’t seen in a while for brunch. I wish we could have gone to the original spot because The Riviera Cafe was not good and I also wish I read reviews prior to. You live and you learn. It was great convo and time spent so no complaints.
P.S. I have not been giving this blog a lot of my time. Work has gotten insane with a boss just leaving her keys and walking out the door. Who does that? Craziness! Trying to get everything in order at this point. But other than that, all is well. 🙂
