Beauty Secret 101

I love to share my beauty secrets in hopes that you will find a great product to use for yourself.  I discovered this product while working at Kiehl’s.  I kept wondering what was so great about this product and then my coworker which has similar hair texture as me, tried it and loved it.

This amazing product is called Formula 133.  This product has been with Kiehl’s for years.  The product gets its unusual name from the fact that customers who were invited to test the product during development were so eager to have more that Kiehl’s chemists never had the chance to name the formula properly. “Formula 133” was their code name for their winning test sample.

This product can be used as a conditioner or a leave – in – conditioner. It is super lightweight yet effective. Whenever I use this product, my curls are always popping.  This is a must have!

It can cost you between $18 to $28.  Kiehl’s does offer samples if you aren’t sure about investing in this product, but I will say that a little bit goes a long away. You can also try to catch various promotions they have throughout the year, just FYI.

Anthom Opens a Store!!!!

A friend of mine invited me out to the grand opening of a store that went from online to brick and mortar.  The name of the store is Anthom.  It’s pretty amazing seeing a vision come to life.  I respect those that follow their dreams and work and make it look effortless because I know it isn’t. Haute Dogs & Fries Restaurant Review

I had the pleasure of meeting someone that was related to the owners of Haute Dogs & Fries Restaurant at my previous job.  They were nice enough to give me a free drink and meal card to try it out.  The place was actually right next to a wax place I had an appointment for and decided why not try the food out afterwards.  This spot is located on Montgomery Street in Alexandria. Two Years Old…

It’s a celebration!!!  I can’t believe it’s been two years with me having this blog.  I got through spells of do I have time for this or do people really read this blog?  It’s been a fun journey and I’m going to continue.

It’s always reassuring when people tell me they checked out my blog or comment below a post. Blogging is like a 2nd or 3rd job for some.  It is extremely time consuming with coming up with the ideas to the way you want your post to look and sound to your readers.

You have to love it to do it. I love the connections I have made with blogging. Some of the coolest people you will ever meet, blog. REMEMBER THAT! =)
