Restaurant Week is Approaching!!!

This is probably one of my favorite times of the year. Restaurant week is coming back!! The dates to lock in are any restaurants listed on OpenTable from August 11th to the 17th.

This is the time to try out those expensive restaurants you wouldn’t go to on a normal day. You won’t be disappointed, especially with the price.

Here are my top 10:

Art and Soul

Rasika

Cafe Milano

STK – Washington DC

Sushi Taro

Toro Toro

Vinoteca

Zengo

Zentan

RIS

Most of these I have been to and are definitely worth trying out!

Thank me later! =)

National Harbor Restaurant Week ReCap

So about two weeks ago, I was invited to go to Restaurant Week at the National Harbor. My friend chose Bond 45 as the place of dining. This was a really nice restaurant that would on the other hand have been extremely expensive to eat at on a regular night. The food was great! I got an appetizer of a bean soup which sounds so simple but I swear they had the best bean soup I have ever tasted in life. My entree was a Chicken pepperoni Parmigianna…it was yummy! For dessert they surprised me with with cotton candy that had gelato ice cream underneath and a candle on top…it was the ending to my birthday week. =)

It was a good experience and the service was phenomenal….check out the pics::::::

Restaurant Week 2010

Me and my ladies decided to go to McCormick and Schmick’s for a ladies night on Friday and I spent a pretty penny despite them having cheaper prices. I usually don’t like seafood but they made me like it even more. =)

Here are some pics from our ladies night:
My appetizer was calamari…YUMMY!

My bib for my lobster, I definitely didn’t use it LOL

Lobster, YUMMY!!!

Key Lime pie…..birthday cake idea but only from McCormick and Schmick’s

Me and my girls ending our lovely night

On Saturday I decided to do another restaurant for restaurant week with my best friend that I hadn’t seen since my birthday. We decided to go to Chef Geoff. They had the best selection for what you could choose from. It took me like 20 mins to figure out what I wanted. The crazy thing about this outing is that we were eating right across the street from the Warner Theater which is where the BET Honors were taking place. I wish we had dinner because we would have probably seen some of the celebs pulling up.

Here are some pics:

Raspberry Lemonade…YUM!!!

Mozarella Balls…YUMMY TWICE lol

Lamb Burger…this was interesting, I’ll probably never get it again…LOL

Warm Brownie with Vanilla Bean Ice Cream…this tasted like heaven…whatever that tastes like

Me and my bestest since 6th grade =)
